I'm Mark, a passionate and experienced software developer with over 10 years of expertise in creating scalable, efficient, and robust applications. My career spans diverse industries, including Finance, Publishing, and Travel, where I have successfully delivered high-quality software solutions.

Some of the projects I've developed over the years
A companion app for on-call firefighters who aren't based at the station full time. It puts announcements, training calendars, duty rotas with equipment checks, leave requests, PPE records and live appliance/road status in their pocket, and lets partners see when they've been called out.
Visit fireportal.orgA community engagement platform for small charities, sports clubs and volunteer groups. It replaces scattered emails, spreadsheets and group chats with one hub for notice boards, event calendars, rotas, document storage and discussions.
Visit rotasense.comA smart travel planner. Forward any booking confirmation email and Excursa reads it, extracting flights, hotels and activities into a day-by-day itinerary with an interactive map, shareable in real time with the rest of the travel party.

A mobile application built using Maui as a companion for Fire Portal. Used by spouses/partners of on-call firefighters to see when they've been called out.
Built using Angular as a front end, this application gives the user a live visual data feed of the UK National Grid
